By now we've all embraced the whole "Skipping a Shampoo" mantra (which I'll admit is nice once or twice a week, but I'm pretty sure that I spend more time styling it when it's 'dirty' than when it's clean...), but I think the idea of going au natural also applies to the skin. Of course, I'm not suggesting that we toss in the makeup bag, far from it, but I feel like going make-up free on the weekends, and of course, at night give the skin a chance to "breathe" and ultimately makes our skin look better. I mean think about it - we pile on the products, and while some are non-comedogenic, they - combined with natural oils, pollution and dirt from touching our face - can result in clogged pores and overall dullness. Ick! Then we try to cover up those blemishes with even more makeup, resulting in a serious skincare cycle that isn't doing us any favors.
